Who Am I?

 Hey! Welcome to my blog.

As we are all starting a new year, surrounded by new people, I wanted to introduce my raw self. I'm Alison Nicole. I am from Beecher Illinois, a super small down near Kankakee and Crete, filled with corn fields. My graduating class was only 98 students. I started at Beecher schools the beginning of Sophomore year. Before Beecher, I went to Grant Park where my graduating class would have only been 23! Big change, even if they both seem small.

My parents divorced when I was 7 years old.  Before they split, we all lived together in Cedar Lake Indiana. I have one full brother, Tyler, 24. Me and him became so close over the last couple years. My mom and dad are both remarried. Now I have 5 brothers... crazy, right? I was always a huge daddies girl growing up and me and my mom never got along. Once I started high school, my mom and I became absolute best friends. There's nothing in the world I wouldn't do for her. My dad and I are still close but once I started working and focused more on school, I couldn't go see him as much.

I am obsessed with going to the beach and being around my friends. That being said, summer is my all time favorite season. I see summer as a 3 month long excuse to get to see my friends and family every day. this summer before college started I got to spend so much time with my childhoods friends before we all went away. My favorite color is pink, if that wasn't obvious. My 19th birthday was just yesterday! (September 17th) I got to hangout with all my closest friends and my mom came out to take me to lunch. I have a boyfriend, David. David and I have been together since sophomore year of high school. 2 years ago, David bought me a puppy for Christmas. She's a husky and we named her Lana Faye. Lana is the love of my life and my best friend in the entire world. I see her as my child and I just miss her so bad being at school and away from her. She's the biggest pain in my butt and she loves to talk back until she gets her way, but she is my little angel girl and I could talk about her all day.

I was super nervous to start college but now that I am here and adjusted, I love it so much. I am studying Health Science and one day I hope to open my own vet clinic where I can help other peoples babies like my Lana.

That's my life! And I can't wait to hear everyone else's stories throughout this semester  that we all get to spend together! Here are a couple picture of David, Lana, and my mom!

  1. It's quite incredible that you already have a goal in mind for what you want to do in the future. Most people in college just blindly go into college and end up with massive amounts of debts and a job they never liked in the first place. I can also relate about the nervousness of going to college. I was constantly setting my expectations so high and worried that I wouldn't be able to manage college.
