Things I find Fascinating

This entire blog is basically going to be an over explained list of things I just love in life.

1. Tattoos. I don't have any tattoos myself, yet. But I am just fully in love with the idea that if you love something enough, you can have an image of it on your body for the rest of your life. After Christmas break my best friend and I are going to get tattoos together. Not matching ones, just going to the shop together. Every time my mom leaves to go on a trip, she will leave me post-it notes in my room with messages that always end in "Love always, momma". I'm going to surprise my mom and get that tattooed on my ribs. I just love knowing that for the rest of my life, I can look in the mirror and know I always have my best friend by my side.

2. Relationships. Nothing makes me happier than my boyfriend. We have been together for 3 years and I just know that he will be the person I marry and start a family with one day. Besides just loving my own relationship, I love the idea of love. I think the most precious thing in the world is that you meet a person and within weeks, months, or years, you can just know that's someone you want to spend your future with. There's billions of people in the world but I got to meet my person at 15 years old. I know relationships at a young age are rocky, but seeing people in love makes me genuinely so happy. Everyone deserves to be loved.

3. Teachers. I have always loved school and I have always loved having good relationships with my teachers. When I was in middle school, I always hated the kids who thought it was hilarious to disrespect a teacher for their own entertainment. I feel like sometimes I am one of the only people who sees what teachers do. I have heard so many people say that to be a teacher is taking the easy way out. My aunt is a teacher, and I know that is not the truth. Teachers decided to dedicate their lives to making students better people. We would not be in a great college, without great teachers. Not to be a total kiss ass, but seeing the way Dr. Kyburz connects with our class makes me so happy. I love attending a class that we can be so goofy in while still getting work done. I always have a good story to tell after my CARD class and I think that's something that not enough people appreciate in college. It's so awesome to have a class to have fun in especially being a science major and dealing with classes like biology, chem, and calculus. Sometimes I can't believe that a typical high school teacher gets paid so little, when in a way, our future is in their hands.

4. My specific family tree. I have definitely always been a super family oriented person. My family means the world to me and will always come first. I'm Italian and German so I have an overly large family on both sides. My parents are divorced and remarried so I have 5 brothers (one full, 4 step). My mom and her siblings are 46, 40, and 25. My mom and grandma were pregnant at the same time so my brother and aunt are the same age, just off by a couple of months. Since my brother, aunt and I are close to the same age, we all grew up being best friends. I always love to tell people how I look nothing like either of my parents, but I look like a perfect combination of my dads sister and my moms sister. My parents are both tan, tall, dark hair, dark eyes while both of my aunts are shorter, long blonde hair, fair skin, and bright green eyes. My dads side of the family is the German side and they're all nuts. My mom side is Italian so they're all loud and crazy. I just love how different and fun my family is. I have never met another one like it.
